SURVEY: Will You Attend Class of 71 Reunion?

To help us set ticket pricing and other details, we need to know how many people will  attend our 50-year high school reunion, scheduled for September 30-October 2, 2022. Registration will open soon.

Some questions relate to options and activities. Your response ASAP is very important and should take 10 minutes or less. Thank you!

1)   * Do you expect to buy a ticket to attend the Guilderland class of 1971 50-Year Reunion - September 30-October 2, 2022? (NOTE: Buying a reunion ticket covers your entrance to all weekend events except the Golf Tournament)   Yes   No   Undecided

2)   * Do you expect to attend the cocktail party (Saturday night, October 1, 2022) at Orchard Creek Golf Club in Altamont? This is the "Main Event" of the weekend and is only for class of 1971 and their guests. 3)   * Do you expect to attend the Informal Get-Together Friday night, September 30, at The Nines in Guilderland (Western Turnpike Golf Course)? The classes of 1970 and 1972 are invited too. Open only to those who purchase a ticket for the reunion weekend.   Yes   No   Undecided

6)   * Are you interested in attending the informal "Guilderland History" Q&A presentation we've scheduled for Friday, September 30, 1:30 - 3:00 pm? (the first half hour is coffee and mingling) Free attendance for reunion registrants, but space is limited. Speaker: historian Mary Ellen Johnson, who writes for Altamont Enterprise. Yes No

7)   If you are interested in the Guilderland History talk, what topics do you want covered? For example - local Indians, early settlers, the Dutch presence, Revolutionary war activities, early occupations/industry, role of the Western Turnpike, slavery in the area? Give us your questions! (We may try to record the session or write a summary.)

8)   * Do you expect to take part in the Golf Tournament at Orchard Creek on Saturday morning, October 1? Registration for the tournament is separate from reunion registration; tournament is open to classes of 1970, 1971, 1972, spouses, friends. Yes No

9)   * If you plan to attend the reunion, do you want to tour the high school, which has been renovated since 1971? Tours are expected to take place Saturday, October 1. Yes No

10)   * If you plan to attend the reunion, will you need a hotel room? We have reserved a block of rooms at TRU by Hilton, Crossgates Mall, and will share that registration link soon. Yes No

11)   Are you interested in helping with reunion planning, tasks, or staffing? For example, we need help creating badges, staffing the events, helping to run 50-50 raffle, helping to run silent auction, finding missing classmates, handling technical aspects of projecting photos and/or videos, etc. Tell us how you can help.

14)   Can you donate items for our Silent Auction? (Auction will be held Saturday night, Oct. 1) So far we have beautiful handmade quilt and gift certificate to Candy Kraft. We seek donations of your high-quality crafts, gift cards for local businesses, items we can group into baskets ... tell us what you can offer!
