I remember hearing this news just prior to our 20th high school reunion and was, of course, shocked and saddened to hear of it. At that same time, I was hearing news from other former classmates, for the first time in many years, and reliving a lot of memories... some from Junior high days (!) and meeting Bill Truax in some of my classes. Later on, I also knew Bill at college, SUNY Plattsburgh, where I attended along with quite a few of other GCHS alum. That's the last contact I had with him.
