December 24, 2004 - MICHAEL F. CONLEY, 51, of of Las Vegas, N.M., died Friday. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Lloyd and Dorothy Foster Conley. He is survived by his wife, Lora Conley of Las Vegas, N.M.; sons, Brian and Sean Conley, both of Las Vegas, N.M.; sister, Aimee and husband Marty of Albuquerque; and brother, Christopher Conley of Thailand. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving with the 567th Engineer Company. He was honorably discharged in 1972. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from New Mexico Highlands University and graduated from the nurse training program at Luna Community College. He was a registered nurse and practiced at St. Vincent Hospital in Santa Fe. He was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity and was active with the Boy Scouts of America and Habitat for Humanity. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. today at the First United Methodist Church. Cremation has taken place.
