ALBANY -- Dawn Diefendorf Sawyer, 47, died suddenly Tuesday at St. Peter's Hospital. Dawn was born in Guilderland and was a resident of Albany. She had been an employee of St. Peter's Hospital for 27 years, where she will be remembered for her loving care of newborn infants and their moms. A graduate of Guilderland High School, she received her child care training at St. Margaret's Center for Children.
