So sorry to hear.  What I remember of her is that she was very sweet, humble and kind to everyone.

Does anyone know what happened to her? I knew her well in school. She dated a friend of mine.  She was pretty and fun and could almost drink me under the table which was quite a feat back in th eday.

Lost contact with Nancy after college. I think she was in Skineatles (sp?) for awhile. Seems like she was a sign maker at that time or in the years after. She was a friend in high school and college.  Such a nice lady. I still remember when a friend played a prank on her an gave her chocolate laxatives after lunch.  She wasn't happy but handled it with grace and good humor. Rest in peace Nancy.

I remember good times with Carol Duell, Mary Schiesel Fidell with Nancy at the wheel of her Corvair, flying along the back roads of Guilderland and Altamont. It was teenage craziness and I often wonder how we made it past our teens.  Nancy was always the life of the party. RIP

I am sad to learn about Nancy.  I didn't know her that well but remember her with all good thoughts.  Researching for her obituary turned up very little information. This is all I could find:

I have so many fond memories of Nancy from High School.  Jackie said it very well mentioning her Corvair. We all spent lots of time in that and helped her to put many miles on it doing fun things together.  Nancy was always one of the highlights of any gathering and she was fun to be with.  I hope she did not suffer and went peacefully.

What interesting comments from everyone about Nancy- she was very well liked, and her death is such a loss. I, too, have fond memories of her. Fun-loving, a good sport, friendly. Hilary Moxey was just here at my house in Maryland (on her way back to Guilderland from a trip) and I told her about the time in high school that I pulled Nancy's chair out from under her. She landed on the floor - and was so good humored about it!  I always hoped to see her at a reunion and apologize (again) for my stupidity. We were hall monitors or something, she came to take her shift, and when she went to sit down, I intended to shake the chair a little, just to be silly. Instead the chair went flying backwards and she fell, legs in the air. Remember, we wore really short skirts in those days? (But no, I was not the one who gave her ex-lax, thank goodness - as Marilyn mentioned here!!) I never saw her after graduation - and hope she had a happy, fulfilling life.
