Finally after over 32 years working for NYS Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services I am retiring to care for my mom.
Bitter sweet for me, I loved my job, boss and working with my son Dale. Loved seeing him everyday but he is more excited than I am I think. He is stepping into my shoes as the CSEA local president. Very proud of him.
Plan on volunteering as a baby rocker at the hospital and also joining the CSEA retirement Local. December 1, 2015 I will be appointed and back in the Union grove. Have to keep busy. Since a few of my girlfriends are retired we plan on keeping busy and enjoy life.
